Although it might seem he is new to the scene, and despite his young age, Colyn has been building his timelesssound for a decade now. His initial breakthrough came when Tale Of Us picked up on his tracks and started playingout his music regularly. With ‘Amor‘ getting signed to their Afterlife label, he started to turn heads. This led to his firstfull EP on Afterlife, ‘Resolve’, which remains a hugely popular release for the label.

Colyn has also released on Fur Coat’s Oddity Records, DGTL Records and Rüfüs Du Sol’s label Rose Avenue, aswell as remixing Joris Voorn. The scope shown by hit tracks such as ‘The Future Is The Past’ and ‘Running’, adreamy piece with emotive vocals by his brother Maurits Colijn, point to an impressively diverse sound.
