DJ Danifox started making music leisurely when he moved to the UK in 2014. He began digging deeper into the sounds of Lisbon underground music and from there he started featuring on other artists’ works, collaborating with DJ Lycox and Deejay Ary on Principe Discos release ‘Dorme Bem’. His style comes from Batida, Lisbon’s term for underground music. Influenced by Kuduro, Tarraxo and Lisbon ghetto: a mix of African percussion and electronic melodies known as “techno”.
