Giulia Fournier-Mercadante, known as GiGi FM, is a French-Italian multidisciplinary artist, DJ, producer, and dancer who bridges the realms of sound, movement, and metaphysics. With a genre-defying approach, she has captivated audiences across iconic venues such as Berghain, Fabric, De School, and Primavera Sound, effortlessly weaving techno, bass, breaks, and ambient into euphoric sonic journeys. A professionally trained dancer, GiGi integrates movement into her music, pushing creative boundaries with innovative techniques like using MYO motion sensors to compose tracks such as “Senstronaut (MYO)” from her 2022 EP Magnetite. Her NTS Radio residency serves as a gateway to her inter-dimensional soundscapes, showcasing collaborations with kindred spirits like Donato Dozzy and Bambounou.
