Midnight Traffic is the alias of DJ/Producer Rishi, based in Hyderabad, India. His signature sound is a captivating fusion of techno’s darkest depths and its brightest lights, enriched with modern sound design, hypnotic rhythms, and deep elements that possess a cerebral appeal. Midnight Traffic’s productions are often designed to draw listeners into a trance-like state, transcending time and space.

With almost a decade of honing his craft in the studio, Midnight Traffic’s catalog comprises several notable EPs on India-based Qilla Records, an EP on Italian label The God’s Planet, a collaborative EP with Qilla Records founder, Kohra on Berlin-based Charybdis Records, along with several independent releases on Bandcamp as well.

As a DJ, Midnight Traffic’s sets tend to lean towards the more fast-paced, hypnotic end of the spectrum, with the intention of creating a cohesive sonic journey that transports listeners to the nth dimension.
