This year our GENERATOR stage, also known as the techno stage amongst our signature 7 stages - will bring back its familiar and much-loved flavor that it has come to be known for.
On Saturday, visitors can expect to experience dynamic and hard-hitting sets by Madrid heavyweight Oscar Mulero, high voltage sounds by Paula Temple & SNTS and gritty techno from UK based producer Ø [Phase] live. Our first day at Generator will also witness a debut set by Amsterdam native Afra and the return of Benny Rodrigues’ toughest alter-ego: ROD. We’re also excited to experience stellar psychedelic techno brought to us by the combined creative forces of Luke Slater, Steve Bicknell and David Sumner (Function) – better known as LSD. With the launch of their own label just last year, this super trio is on an incredible flow we’re happy to be part of.
Sunday’s lineup will take on a more intricate approach, adopting a Detroit focused sound with a house edge. Having shared the stage with renowned international stars, Brooklyn’s best kept - Volvox, will serve her signature groovy and acid-flavored sets on Sunday afternoon. Followed by a captivating live act by Detroit heroes Octave One [Live] and Dutch rising star Deniro. We will then proceed to bring to our stage international game-changers Blawan and Nina Kraviz. If you were there in 2016 (click for a small impression) or during ADE in 2018, you know why we’re extremely thrilled to have this Russian powerhouse with us again.
With a line up as soaring as this, we can only imagine what awaits us. We can’t wait to make more memories, participate in monumental moments and witness spectacular highlights for our 8th edition of DGTL Amsterdam.
