LOCATION
All our shows during ADE will take place at the NDSM Warehouse. Navigate to the following location: NDSM-Plein 85, 1033 WC Amsterdam.
HOW TO GET THERE
Ferry
From Amsterdam Central Station, you can easily take the ferry to NDSM. We will provide extra ferries, besides the regular schedule, to the festival from Amsterdam Central Station. The festival ferry will depart from the regular ferry platform directly behind Amsterdam Central Station. The ferries sail during the day, but also at night. You can check all the departure times live at https://pontveer.nl/, please do so before planning your trip.
From Amsterdam Central Station to the NDSM the sailing time is about fifteen minutes, and from the ferry it’s about a five-minute walk to the NDSM warehouse. The saling time from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg is 5 minutes, and from the ferry it’s a 10 minute bike ride to the NDSM Warehouse.
Please be advised that waiting times might increase during peak hours, especially after the event ends. If you need to catch the last train home, be sure to take this into account.
Bicycle
We recommend you to travel to the NDSM Warehouse by bicycle. We advise you to take the ferry from Amsterdam Central station to ‘Buiksloterweg’ and cycle from there, or take the ferry from Pontsteiger to ‘Distelweg’ and then cycle from there. Note that bicycles are not allowed on the ferry towards central station from the NDSM. We’ve made sure there are designated areas to park your bike. Please listen to the instructions of our crew on site.
By car
We don’t recommend travelling to the event by car, as it’s not sustainable, and there will be no dedicated parking spaces for DGTL visitors available.
Uber / Kiss & ride
Are you taking an Uber, or is somebody dropping you off at the event site? The Uber drop off is at Ms. Tarnweg, and the kiss & ride drop off is at Tt. Vasumweg.
There will also be signs and traffic control to direct you to the right place. The on-site crew will ensure everyone can get off in a safe and organised fashion.
Taxi
If you take a taxi instead of an Uber, you can go to the crossroad between the NDSM-straat and Ms. van Riemsdijkweg. If you want to take a taxi home, this is also where you must go.
ECO CUPS
From a sustainable perspective, we use reusable hard cups instead of plastic cups. You will buy your first cup or bottle for €1,50, which will be deducted from the following order when returning your cup/bottle at the bar. At the end of the night, you can take the cup home.
GENERAL DISPOSAL
DGTL has set the goal to become the world’s first zero-waste festival. Based on the principles of a circular economy, we treat all festival “waste” as valuable resources instead and therefore separate and index all incoming and outgoing materials. This means that we have replaced all traditional trash bins with our new RCPs (Resource Collection Points). All your resources (plastics, organics/compostables, and other materials) can be deposited in the RCPs to be recycled or reused on-site and offsite. Together, we can set an example for sustainability and become the greenest festival in the world.
Please note it is not allowed to take any bottles, canisters, drinks or foods with you to the festival, it is not allowed. This includes:
- Containers carrying liquids.
- Deodorant bottles or rollers.
- Hard plastic water bottles.
CASHLESS
Top up stations
Paying at DGTL is cashless. If you want to pay with cash, There will be top-up stations at the Warehouse where you can exchange your cash for a DGTL card to pay with.

ZERO TOLERANCE
DGTL has a strict zero tolerance policy regarding drugs.
I LOVE MY EARS
Please take care of your ears! With music above 87 dB, it is smart to use earplugs with a special music filter. With these earplugs, you can still hear the music perfectly; conversations remain intelligible and most important of all, you prevent hearing damage and the annoying ringing after the event. In addition, the Alpine PartyPlug earplugs are super comfortable. During DGTL ADE, Alpine PartyPlug earplugs will be available at the merchandise stand. The PartyPlug earplugs are reusable so that you can protect your ears not only at DGTL but at other festivals as well. Love your ears!
COMPENSATE YOUR CO2 EMISSION TO DGTL
At DGTL, we are highly aware of our environmental impacts. All year round, DGTL searches for the latest technological breakthroughs to close material loops. DGTL is a living lab for future city innovations, leaving behind a structural trace. If you want to join us in our mission for a better world, you can compensate for your means of travel to the Warehouse by clicking here.
DGTL ETHICS
Our mission is to provide a safe and enjoyable ADE experience, and to positively impact the music industry. All of this, however, is not possible unless we create a environment that is safe and welcoming to all.
While on location at the Warehouse, you’ll find members of our Awareness Crew walking around. You can also at any time reach out to our team leads and security personnel. We want to emphasize that nobody is allowed to occupy a space, mind, or body that has not been mutually agreed upon.
At DGTL, we believe in:
- A dancefloor for all
- A place to feel comfortable and free
- Exploring a curiosity for electronic music, art and culture
- A sustainable future
A safer dancefloor is a collective effort. Help us create an environment free from harassment, racism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, and sexism. DGTL does not endorse or condone the use of illegal substances.
Social & collective responsibility
By entering our grounds, you agree to work towards the collective goal of creating safe(r) dancefloors for everyone. We strive for a ADE experience in which we all, the visitors and organization keep each other accountable for our words and actions. We do not condone any form of verbal or physical harassment.
Harassment can be defined as words or actions that can come across as intimidating, confrontational or abusive to another person. Keep in mind that what someone else considered harassment may not be considered harassment by you.
Consent culture
We are committed to enabling consent culture throughout DGTL ADE. Consent is about respecting a person’s decisions and autonomy of their own body. It is obtained when the other party says an enthusiastic and conscious “Yes”, not when someone doesn’t say “No”. Consent is a mutual and ongoing dialogue, and can be withdrawn at any stage.
Responsible and safe celebration
We have the freedom to make our own decisions as adults. We therefore expect our visitors to be conscious and responsible when entering our festival grounds. An amazing festival starts with taking the necessary precautions. When in doubt, less is always more.
Keep in mind that only you should have the say over what goes into your body; peer pressure is challenging to overcome. Additionally, don’t forget to regularly check up on your friends & other people around you. Make sure to drink enough water, but not too much – about 1 glass water per hour. Not feeling well? Please keep in mind that our awareness team and first aid is always here to help you, our visitor.
PRESS COVERAGE
I am a journalist and would like to cover DGTL
This is possible. We would be happy to invite a selected few to the Warehouse. Please send an email to hello@dgtl.nl to make a coverage request.
I LOST SOMETHING DURING AN SHOW, WHAT NOW?
Lost something at the festival? We will publish all found items online via iLost on Monday the 23nd of October.

Protect your belongings, be aware of pickpockets
Keep Your Valuables Close: Whether it’s your phone, wallet, or passport, always keep your valuables in zippered pockets or bags, and ensure they are within your line of sight.
Use Lockers: take advantage of them to store your valuables securely when you’re not using them.
PARKING
DGTL strongly recommends travelling to the Warehouse by metro. Please remember that parking space is limited, and alcohol checks will be conducted upon exiting the Warehouse. For special parking requests, contact us at hello@dgtl.nl
CELEBRATE SAFE
As much as partying is fun, it’s never entirely without risks. That’s why it’s important to be aware of the risks, from blisters and dehydration to the use of alcohol and other drugs. For this reason, DGTL is a partner of Celebrate Safe. Please take a look at their pillars for safe partying:
- Think for yourself, care about others
- Using alcohol or other drugs is never without risks
- I love my ears
- Take a break to cool and chill
- Know your limits and respect those of others
- Enjoy safe sex without regrets
- Security & crew will keep you safe
- The first aid team is your friend
- Get home safe: grab a ride
- Love your body: take time to recover
