PER DIRECT: Marketing Intern

We're looking for a creative and hands-on marketing intern to join our team.


The Job:
• You will assist in setting up exciting Social Media campaigns and work with platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Soundcloud, Spotify, Youtube and Snapchat
• Optimizing current marketing, communication and PR campaigns
• Monitor and analyze ticket sales
• Monitor Social Media and blogs
• Editing and writing newsletters
• Help develop our PR campaigns, influencer strategies and other relationships
• Help develope the marketing campaigns for our events
• Manage offline campaigns and think along about the offline strategy
• Participate in the production of our events


• You have affinity for electronic music and can be found regularly on a festival site
• You are looking for a work internship (no research)
• You like creative writing and have strong communication and writing skills
• You know everything about Social Media
• You speak and write fluent English
• You are available for a minimum of 5 to 8 months
• During productions you are also available in the evenings and in the weekend
• You follow an HBO/WO level of education in marketing/communication/event management


Start date: Feb/March 2020
Duration of internship: 6 months

We are looking for a go-getting creative spirit who is eager to learn and passionate about creating for an innovative festival organisation. Start date: immediately.


The Job

As a Content Creation & Multimedia Design intern, you will work closely with the lead designer for Apenkooi to translate the various identities of our festivals into dynamic visual assets. You will be proactive in improving these identities and looking to create original marketing and communication solutions.


Your responsibilities will include:

The creation of online and offline visual content for line-up releases, timetables and other announcements
Developing stand-out newsletters and social media assets
Creating and editing short videos (preferably small animations)



Are a student in creative education (MBO or higher);
Are a self-professed Adobe master (In-Design, Illustrator, Photoshop)
Are fluent in Dutch & English (written and spoken on a professional level)
Are quick-thinking and level-headed
Are professional
Are an organised and structured worker
Are passionate about festivals
Enjoy working in a team
Have knowledge of HTML & CSS (plus point!)
Have experience with Adobe Premiere and After Effects (major plus point!)
