DGTL Revolution aims to continuously keep sustainability top-of-mind. To meet this goal, we make fundamental changes to our festival set-up and in our day-to-day activities. Meat-free was one of our next big steps in making a change in the way we produce our festival.
Here are the results by eating meat-free during DGTL Amsterdam 2016 for two days. Combined with 40.000 visitors we managed to save up 53.000 kg of Co2 (non-bio). This is 14 million liters of water and 21.000 kg of forage.
Next year we plan to even further decrease our ecological footprint by introducing exciting new ideas.
