Despite naming themself after a mythical egomaniac, Narciss’ approach to Techno is very far from self-centered, with their inspirations spanning from Samurai Movies of the 1950s across Hip-Hop from the 80s, to white-labelled tool-techno records and Anime from the 90s. Undeterred by the tonal difference in these influences though, the glue holding all of them together is an earnest sense of emotion and Narciss’ audible wish to make a crowd move as ecstatically as possible.
